The "Track Wizard" is a program that generates necessary track data.
Once we have this data, we can begin editing our track (e.g.: adding weapon pads).
Run it by clicking "BallisticNG > Track Configuration > Track Wizard", then clicking "Run".
Objects becoming black in-game?[edit | edit source]
If you have already added scenery or a skydome to a track, running the Track Wizard will turn them black in-game.
This is because it adds a "Ballistic Material" script to them:
And the default "Material Type" for this script is "Opaque".
Remove this script if you find it on a scenery object or skydome, but leave this script on your track floor & walls.
Remarks[edit | edit source]
- The Track Wizard provides you with a structured hierarchy of objects to help keep things tidy
